In Riviera Magazine, a luxury publication based in San Diego, I wrote a nine-page essay for Qualcomm featuring eight of their most successful, knowledgeable and interesting employees. The goal was to put a human side on a giant, influential and local mobile technology company. The employees I interviewed ranged from neuroscientists to political liaisons to audiophiles to former Marines - the type of people you wouldn't associate with that company. It was fun getting into their minds, figuring out what made them tick and then piecing it all together into small interesting stories about technology and the people who make it happen.
